His experience in defending real estate professionals involved in lawsuits led to his appointment to the Forms Revision Task Force, formed by the Utah Association of Realtors to review and draft proposed revisions to approved forms utilized by real estate brokers and agents in Utah.
Mark has been invited regularly to participate at annual meetings of the Utah Association of Realtors as a presenter on panels discussing the legal pitfalls facing realtors.
CAREER:
Before beginning his litigation career in 1987, Mark had diverse legal experiences, working as counsel and chief operating officer of a title company, in-house attorney for a regional timeshare condominium developer, and also as corporate attorney for an oil company, representing the corporation and its subsidiaries in matters related to numerous refineries with RCRA permitted on-site waste facilities, a national system of company and lessee-run service stations, hotels and major ski resorts.
Elected to the honor societies Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi while attending the University of Utah.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS:
In connection with his practice representing injured persons, Mark recently became a member of Injury Board, an online community dedicated to keeping consumers safe. He is a frequent contributor to the injuryboard.com blog network and provides the latest information on topics ranging from drug safety litigation to current legislative issues to tips for safe boating. Many of his pieces have been referenced in the top ranked position of many online news sources.
