Nine years of partner experience in two national law firms where he was engaged in the practice of commercial real estate law, representing both lenders and developers in a wide variety of transactions. At Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker he established and led the commercial real estate practice team for the Atlanta office and, while at Kutak, Rock & Huie, he served for a time as head of the commercial real estate section in the Atlanta office.
Seven years of in-house corporate experience with two firms. He served as associate general counsel for Portman Properties and as general counsel and executive vice president of a Georgia-based real estate brokerage, development, and investment firm.
