Jones Waldo Adds Two Attorneys to Healthcare Law Practice Group

Jones Waldo welcomes Jess Griffiths and Allison Griffiths to the firm’s Park City office. Both will be joining the firm’s Healthcare Law Practice Group, Jess Griffiths as the leader of the group.

Jess Griffiths was born in New York and graduated from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law. He has more than 20 years of experience and represents healthcare, technology and other clients with complex and strategic issues including start-ups, strategic partnering and negotiations, compliance, brand and rights protections and business-threatening litigation. Jess Griffiths owned a boutique healthcare and intellectual property law firm in Hawaii for fifteen years prior to relocating to Park City.

Allison Griffiths, a graduate of Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law, brings a decade of experience advising clients on a variety of regulatory healthcare matters, including Affordable Care Act, PPACA, HIPAA, ERISA and COBRA compliance as well as state health law compliance. She also assists clients in asserting and resolving medical liens, and with drafting healthcare contracts, benefit guides and summaries, notices and agreements.

“We are pleased Jess and Allison have brought their niche healthcare expertise to our firm,” said Keven M. Rowe, president of Jones Waldo. “With the recent changes in compliance for the healthcare industry, their experience and skills are highly sought-after.”

For example, their expertise in counseling doctors, hospital management and healthcare-related subcontractors and businesses on how to navigate the litany of healthcare laws, regulations and compliance is invaluable in this landscape of evolving healthcare practices in the U.S. For more information on the Healthcare Law Practice Group, please visit the website
