Women Lawyers Group |
The Women Lawyers Group at Jones Waldo is the first women’s group of its kind to be formally established within a Utah law firm. Comprising all of Jones Waldo’s female attorneys, the Women Lawyers Group covers a wide range of legal specialties ranging from business and corporate law to women’s legal advocacy.
The Women Lawyer Group was formed in 2003 as a way for Jones Waldo to promote women in business, assist female professionals who may be in need of legal services or advice, and to promote and support the firm’s female attorneys. By aggressively hosting and participating in a variety of business and community-related events, the Jones Waldo Women Lawyers Group strives to help all women succeed within their organizations and promote Utah women’s legal advocacy.
The Group is headed by its founder, Susan Peterson, who has been with Jones Waldo since 1993 and currently serves on its Board of Directors. Susan has served on the boards of the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce Women’s Business Center and the Legal Aid Society of Salt Lake.
