Jones Waldo’s Residential Development Practice Group can assist in those areas of real estate development and financing that are unique to the development of residential subdivisions. From the initial concept drawing to the sale of finished product, we can assist in all aspects of residential development, including: architects contracts, construction contracts, development and plat approvals, municipal agreements, easements, covenants, sales material, and loan documentation. We have negotiated and have obtained approvals for single family lot subdivisions, planned-unit developments, common-interest ownership and condominium developments, and timeshare projects. We have considerable depth of experience in tackling the trouble spots of residential development: wetlands, water rights, irrigation rights and easements, utility service agreements, off-site required improvements, and dedications, exactions and impact fees.
