JONES WALDOLitigation and Advocacy for Land Use and Environmental Law Practice

Jones Waldo’s litigation department includes a practice group dedicated to courtroom and administrative advocacy on all aspects of real property disputes, zoning, entitlements, land use planning, and environmental law.

Our group boasts some of the intermountain region’s finest litigation and trial lawyers in the areas of real property title disputes, boundary disputes, commercial and residential lease actions, and land use issues. We represent both individual and institutional landowners, lessors, lessees and holders of trust deeds, mortgages, rights-of-way or other use entitlements in all aspects of real estate ownership, use, finance or conveyance. We also bring experience to the area of real estate transaction disputes, including real estate purchase contract disputes, conveyance actions, and brokerage issues.

We further bring extensive experience to client representation before planning and zoning bodies, city and county councils, and (where necessary) the courts relating to planning and zoning, subdivision application and approval, entitlement, and land use planning disputes, from initial application through final appeal.

Finally, Jones Waldo’s land use and environmental law litigation and advocacy group is well equipped to represent clients in matters involving environmental disputes, regulatory compliance, clean-up actions, environmental insurance claims, and related matters before the Utah State Division of Environmental Quality, the Environmental Protection Agency, and all courts of competent jurisdiction to hear environmental disputes.
